When someone visits your Facebook Page and presses the Message button, they will see a set of recommended questions or prompts known as Icebreakers or Conversation Starters.
These are set by default by Meta but can be customized using Chatku AI.
Access your Chatku AI Dashboard > Your Facebook Bot.
Open the Settings tab.
Look for Facebook settings specifically.
Under Facebook settings, locate Icebreakers.
If the Icebreakers section is currently empty, it means no custom conversation starters are set.
Click Edit to add your own conversation starters.
In the Icebreaker field, type your desired starter message. Example: “I would like to know more about your products”.
Link this message to a Flow you’ve created in Chatku AI.
You can set up multiple Icebreakers if needed.
After setting up your conversation starter(s) and linking them to the relevant flows, click Save.
To test the new conversation starters:
Visit your Facebook Page.
Delete any existing conversation in Messenger (if you’ve messaged the page before).
Press the Message button.
You should see the new Icebreaker Messages appear.
Click one of the Icebreakers — it should trigger the linked flow in Messenger.
Deleting Old Chats: Always delete old conversations before testing, as Facebook caches the previous flow.
Meta Policy: Ensure the messages comply with Facebook’s guidelines for business messaging.
Language Support: You can set different icebreakers for different languages if your page supports multiple languages.
